Questions anyone?

If you have read my stuff before, you may know that every once and a while, I like to give people advice. So, if you are up to it, send me a question, It may be serious or not, either way I will answer it in my own way. That means that if you send me a question about a serious dilemma you are having in life I will probably answer you with a series of hand painted middle fingers on a middle finger shaped vase. That is only if I feel up to making pottery, which I rarely do ever since I was molested by Patrick Swazyes ghost in my tenth grade art class, to this day Unchained Melody makes me go all fetal. On the inverse side if you try to baffle me with the bizarre, I will fill you with an encyclopedia of knowledge about pound cake. Thank you and I look forward to your questions.

Okay Farmer Joe, here's a real question for you. Both my Tettnang hops (which I planted last year) and my Chinook vine that I planted this year are flowering already. My other hop plants from last years planting (Saaz & Golding) are growing at just slightly less than average speed and my other new plantings for this year (Warrior & Willamette) are growing as you would expect new hop plants to grow. 'Sup with all that?

If anything, the Tettnang should be the slower of my "old growth" due to the fact that the soil was the worst in that area. However, the Tettnang has spread to cover more area than the other vines, so I'm starting to think that the shallower root system of that vine could actually be forcing early vine maturity. Any thoughts about all of this?

Either way, I should be brewing with fresh hops by late June this year.
